Artist Andreea Anghel from Romania wins International Art Contest
MyArtContest.com, the original online art contest, announces winners of biggest contest to date.


GARDEN GROVE, CA, February 04, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MyArtContest.com, the original online art contest, and Artist Portfolio Magazine are pleased to announce that our esteemed jurors have selected the following artworks as the top 3 winners of our 2011 Anniversary Art Contest: "The Girl Next Door" by Andreea Anghel from Romania, "Ice Cream Package Towers" by Takanori Aiba from Japan, and "untitled" by Mona Akbari from Iran along with 20 great honorable mentions.

The winners received cash prizes of $1500, $500, and $200 respectively to support their artistic endeavors. Additionally, their work will have full page features in Artist Portfolio Magazine Issue 6. Each artist who entered the Anniversary Art Contest was included in the online art exhibit at http://myartcontest.com/current-2012-anniversary.html and will be archived at MyArtContest.com, which currently gets over 600 unique visitors per day. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from this contest will be donated to a selected charity. Our contests are open to all artists from around the world. The themes and jurors vary.
