Slots of Vegas Awards $10,000 Cash to The Biggest Loser
Slots of Vegas recently ran a three-month long competition that concluded on December 31st, leaving one lucky member the winner of a $10,000 cash prize for being named The Biggest Loser.


SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA, January 04, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Slots of Vegas recently ran a three-month long competition inviting users to share the story of their biggest loss while gambling, whether on or offline. Hundreds of people participated and Slots of Vegas awarded thousands of dollars through the competition, ultimately awarding a $10,000 Cash to Peaches123, the Slots of Vegas member to be named The Biggest Loser.

The Biggest Loser competition was hosted on Facebook where people around the world were invited to share their story and then get their friends, family, and anyone else they could, to 'like' and pass on their story. Users with the most 'likes' were awarded with cash prizes throughout the entire course of the contest however, the ultimate prize was eventually claimed by Peaches123 on December 31st, 2011, after getting more than 50,000 people to like and share her story.

In addition to awarding $10,000 Cash this week to one member, the Slots of Vegas staff did the unexpected by choosing another participant to be awarded with $2,500 cash for no other reason than that they connected with the users story and wanted to help her cause. Christopher DiAngelo, Slots of Vegas Marketing Manager, stated, "We liked almost all of the stories that were submitted to us. Peaches123 gave everyone a good run for their money and we are excited she won. There was one user who really got this competition rolling and we all decided after the contest completed that we wanted to do something for her, even though she wasn't able to win. She's trying to send her grandson on a class trip and we wanted to help. We hope the $2,500 does the trick."

When asked about the competition in general, Mr. DiAngelo said, "When we started this promotion, our main goal was to create a community atmosphere among our players. Every gambler has at least two great stories. One is their biggest win and the other is almost always their biggest loss. We thought that by sharing the story of your biggest loss, we could give players the opportunity to turn one of their more bitter memories into something sweet. What could be sweeter than $10,000 cash?"

The Biggest Loser contest quickly became popular among players mainly because of its innovative approach and the possibility it offered to its participants to interact directly with the online casino and with other players in a more personal and direct approach.
