New Year, New You: BrandStar Entertainment's The Balancing Act Features Tips for 2012
January Series Aims to Help Viewers Look and Feel Better in the New Year


POMPANO BEACH, FL, January 20, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For many, the start of a new year brings thoughts of making positive changes. Keeping that in mind, BrandStar Entertainment is rolling out a series of segments in January to help women become healthier and more creative in 2012.

The month kicks off on January 1st with a visit from Health to Happiness, Inc. Health to Happiness created The Swedish Diet , a weight loss system that uses a special formulation of vitamins to boost metabolism, diminish appetite and promote weight loss. According to BrandStar Entertainment, Health to Happiness will discuss solutions for those women who plan to make weight loss a part of their New Years' resolutions.

Health to Happiness VP of Marketing, Erin I. Fray tells BrandStar Entertainment that successful weight loss includes taking a lifestyle approach to fitness and diet. "I'm going to show The Balancing Act viewers on Lifetime a healthier way to maintain and lose weight—naturally," Fray tells BrandStar Entertainment.

According to BrandStar Entertainment, Fray will provide tips on tracking calories using free web apps, as well as motivation to start a fitness and nutrition program that can be maintained throughout the year. Fray will walk viewers through a program that not only helps to promote weight loss, but also helps women become healthier.

On January 3rd, BERNINA of America will be on set to discuss helpful sewing tips for women interested in updating their wardrobes. BERNINA, which has been manufacturing sewing machines since the late 19th century, will show women how to use basic sewing techniques to "upcycle" their existing wardrobes to today's fashions, BrandStar Entertainment says.

"You don't need to be an expert sewer to update your wardrobe," Jennifer Gigas, BERNINA's VP of Education, tells BrandStar Entertainment. According to Gigas, using BERNINA's tips, viewers can create a new, fashionable wardrobe without having to spend hundreds of dollars on new clothes.

Also joining BrandStar Entertainment's The Balancing Act on January 3rd will be BIOLASE Technology. BIOLASE appears as a continuation of BrandStar Entertainment's series on "Dental Discovery," which educates viewers on new technologies for dental problems. The January 3rd feature will focus on advancements in pain-free dentistry.

"Some people are so afraid of the perception of pain, needles and drills that they'd rather suffer psychologically than do something about it," BIOLAGE 's Wayne Harrison tells BrandStar Entertainment's The Balancing Act.
